Hike, Lunch, Mahjongg


The next fun fund raiser we have is a Hike, Lunch and Mahjongg Party at Marcia Baxter’s Home. The costs is $35.00 per person. Your check will be your reservation. It is on July 17th at 10:30, hike is at 11:00 sharp with lunch and Mahjongg following. Please mail your check to Marcia at 590 City Slickers Trail, DGO 81301 (make out to DFA) to make reservations. She lives in an incredible place with view to die for….

Then our next fun fund raiser is a tea at Mary Orsini’s lovely home at 41 Horse Gulch Loop DGO 81301. Call Mary Orsini @3822612 or Carol Treat @ 375 7781 for information. PIE SALES FUNdRaisers


Then one of the continued FUNdraisers are the Pie Sales at the Saturday Farmer’s Market. If you have not been to the Farmer’s Market, this is a good way to contribute and attend. Joann Trimberger has worked hard with her committee to decorate a booth, and sell our members homemade pies. Joann needs more pies.


This has turned out to be a great money maker for us…And, fun… The next date we are selling pies is AUGUST 1st. Call Joann and let her know you can come and help, but most we NEED PIES. The more pies we get the more money we make for our Grants. Her email address is joanntrimberger@hotmail.com.


If for some reason, let me know if you need help getting your pies there if you can’t come. I am collecting people to collect the pies in a couple different areas who can bring them down to the Market…The booth will be decorated between 6:30 and 7:30 AM I am supplying the tent and tables. The booth and the pies must be ready at the opening bell at 8:00 AM.

DUES ARE DUE! Download a Membership Form for Your 2015 Dues

Membership dues support the Durango Friends of the Arts administrative costs that allow the organization to raise money throughout the year to support arts projects.

Membership dues are:

  • $35 for individuals
  • $50 for couples/families
  • $75 for businesses (includes 2 memberships)
  • Free for those over 80 years old
