Fiesta FUNdRaiser

We move right into our other upcoming fund raiser: It is a Fiesta Party on June 13th at Tom’s and Allison’s home at 4- 8 pm. There will be dancing and fantastic Mexican food, You get two drink tickets per ticket and then of course we will have an open bar….Good (no make that great) times.

The tickets are $50 each…remember this is a FUNd Raiser for Durango Friends of the Arts. You can invite guests to come…Limited to the first 100 people, Your check is your reservation. Come see their beautiful home with plenty of room…Great views…and surprises.

Then one of the continued FUNdraisers are the Pie Sales at the Saturday Farmer’s Market. If you have not been to the Farmer’s Market, this is a good way to contribute and attend. Joann Trimberger has worked hard with her committee to decorate a booth, and sell our members homemade pies. Joann needs more pies.

This has turned out to be a great money maker for us…And, fun… The two dates that we are selling pies are JUNE 20th and AUGUST 1st. Call Joann and let her know you can come and help, but most we NEED PIES. The more pies we get the more money we make for our Grants. Her email address is joanntrimberger@hotmail.com.

If for some reason, let me know if you need help getting your pies there if you can’t come. I am collecting people to collect the pies in a couple different areas who can bring them down to the Market…The booth will be decorated between 6:30 and 7:30 AM I am supplying the tent and tables. The booth and the pies must be ready at the opening bell at 8:00 AM.

DUES ARE DUE! Download a Membership Form for Your 2015 Dues

Membership dues support the Durango Friends of the Arts administrative costs that allow the organization to raise money throughout the year to support arts projects.

Membership dues are:

  • $35 for individuals
  • $50 for couples/families
  • $75 for businesses (includes 2 memberships)
  • Free for those over 80 years old

General membership meetings are the second Thursday of January, March, May, July, September and November. They are open to the public.
