NATURAL SKINCARE FUNDRAISER
Join us for a fun morning, and a great cause – just in time for Mother’s Day!
WHEN: Tuesday, May 5th, 10am-1pm
WHERE: Edgemont Highlands Community Center
Come join your friends for lunch, and spend an hour learning how to make organic body butter and bath salts! A couple of years ago I attended a workshop on how to have radiant skin for life out of your own kitchen, and it was amazing. Since then I have been making organic body butter and lotions for Christmas gifts, and the feedback has been so great that I thought – wow – this would be a great fundraising project! We tried it last year, and it was a sellout! So we are back!!
We will serve lunch, and you will be treated to a demonstration on how to make delightful lotions and creams and bath salts at home. You will leave with a lovely container of body butter and another one of bath salts, along with a very informative handout on many different ways to make natural, organic lotions and creams and bath products.
The information is great – I was astounded at the number of oils and additives to choose from, all of them natural! The class will be informative and fun, and the lunch and time spent with friends is of course priceless… You will leave with softer hands and a smile on your face!

Membership dues support the Durango Friends of the Arts administrative costs that allow the organization to raise money throughout the year to support arts projects.
Membership dues are:
- $35 for individuals
- $50 for couples/families
- $75 for businesses (includes 2 memberships)
- Free for those over 80 years old
